Match the full coin name, weight or denomination, and relevant year to the bezel's listed compatibility. Check the coin's diameter and thickness: two coins with the same diameter may need different bezels. Start with Identify Your Coin or ask us for help before ordering.
A screw-top bezel uses a small screw to close the frame around a compatible coin. A prong-set bezel uses tabs that are carefully folded over the coin to hold it in place. Prong setting is best handled by a jeweler, especially if you are unfamiliar with it. Choose a bezel made for your exact coin and follow its installation instructions; never force a coin into a setting.
Compare the bezel's inside bail opening with the widest and thickest parts of your chain, including its clasp and end fittings. A chain can fit while its end fitting is too large to pass through. Check the product measurements and our chain fit guide, or contact us before ordering if you need help.
Have a coin specialist assess valuable or collectible coins before mounting them. A removable bezel can still leave contact marks, and wearing a coin as jewelry may affect its condition and collector value. Do not clean, drill, or force the coin into a bezel.
